Absolutely fantastic experience at Zeytin! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable – the staff were friendly, attentive, and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We started with hummus and pita bread (smooth, fresh, and delicious) and crispy feta cheese triangles – both were full of flavour and beautifully presented. For mains, I had the vegetarian moussaka, which was rich, comforting, and packed with perfectly cooked vegetables, while my husband really enjoyed his Ottoman chicken, tender and bursting with Mediterranean spices. But the real showstopper was dessert – the warm baklava with a scoop of ice cream. Without exaggeration, this was the best dessert I’ve ever had. Absolutely heavenly! To top it all off, there was live music which added a wonderful, lively touch to the evening. Zeytin is truly the best place around if you’re looking for delicious food, a great atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!
We often come here and the food always arrives fast and is lovely, can’t fault it! We love the lunch time menu as the tapas options are very good. However, the place always seems to be very quiet but this may be down to the fact that it is on the outsides of the town centre and not many people are aware of it.
What a fun night at Zeytin - we were celebrating our Dad’s 90th birthday. The food was amazing, great flavour and plenty of choices. Everyone made a fuss of Dad and the whole place sang Happy Birthday, he loved it too.
We visited as a group of 14 for a hen party on a busy Friday evening. Zeytin helped with our booking, pre orders, allowed us to decorate our table with balloons and accessories and gave our bride to be a fabulous welcome. The food was delicious, service was first class and nothing was too much trouble. All 14 starters and main meals came out seamlessly and staff were attentive with drinks. Thank you so much for a great evening!
Nice clean restaurant well decorated and friendly staff, food is good quality. A la carte or lunch menus available, lots of choice, a little disappointed by the soft drink prices and automatic service charge. Really takes away from a nice meal at the end. 2 Coke Zero and a Large water were £14 then another £6.50 service charge for a lunch visit. Don’t agree with these scalping practices and it’s embarrassing to ask for it to be removed when with company.
